Good morning.
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful week.
I just wanted to share some more information that I’ve discovered.
I recently discovered that Cartoon Network Studios (which are the creators of some of my favorite cartoon television shows) and Warner Brothers Discovery in Burbank, California are hiring for a handful of new internship positions for the summer. I just came across these new positions while looking through Instagram the other day. Afterwards, I headed to the Cartoon Network Studios homepage on LinkedIn to learn about them.
One of the programs that they had looked very interesting and very much aligned my personal career goals, so I applied to it. Many of the programs was located in Burbank, California, so I may not be selected to join it, but I thought to still apply for it anyways. Who knows? Maybe there will be a way for me to participate in the internship even though I live in New York City. Since this program and many of the others will take place in the summer, maybe I can find a way to stay with some relatives in California until the end of the program and I can return to New York.
For anyone interested in learning more about the internships that the company is hiring for, here is the link to the page on LinkedIn.
Also, here is a link to Warner Brothers Discovery’s list of other internships and job opportunities.
There is another internship opportunity that will take place in the summer.
I am considering taking part in a study abroad program at my university in which we travel to the United Kingdom for about three weeks, but if it turns out that I can’t be a part of that program, then there is another opportunity that I am very interested in.
I found out about this opportunity while looking at a website that lists many different animation jobs and internships from around the world. You can find the site here.
The internship program will be in France during the Annecy Festival, and it will be about a week or so long. It will include breakfast, dinner, pickups and drop-offs to the airport, and a tour of the whole festival. There will be a virtual information session where more information about the internship will be shared, and I am planning on joining so that I can learn more. It may turn out that I will have to pay for my own plane tickets, but depending on how the program works and the total cost of it, that maybe won’t be a huge problem. It would definably be worth it if I got the chance to travel to another country and meet other artists in the field.
You can follow this link and read about the program for yourselves if you want.
That is all I have to report for today.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful morning and a great rest of the day.
